The small details deserve good tools

30 free browser tools.
One clearer next step.

Thirty focused tools for files, work, media, data and planning. Find the job in front of you, try a fictional example, and take a useful result with you.

Tools process your inputs in your browser. Some offer optional saving on this device; exported files can contain what you enter. No runtime AI, account or payment required. This collection and the original tools offer default-off aggregate usage counts; normal hosting logs may exist.

Work & money

Resumes, time, records and imports. Keep a reviewable copy.

01 / Work & money

CatalogGuard

Check a Shopify product CSV

Compare original and edited catalogs for blank overwrites, price swings and variant identity changes. Review selected formatting fixes before export.

No store connection. Findings need review; this cannot guarantee an import.

Check a catalog

Try a 90% price drop and a blank Vendor field.

02 / Work & money

BankImport Rescue

Prepare a bank CSV

Map bank CSV, TSV or delimited TXT columns for a QuickBooks or Xero import. Choose date and decimal rules, then review exact totals and possible repeats.

CSV-first. No PDF, OFX, QIF or Excel import, reconciliation, or bank connection.

Prepare a bank CSV

Resolve 07/10/2026 and reconcile an exact total.

04 / Work & money

ResumeBench

Make a resume you can keep

Build role-specific resumes with three single-column templates, selectable-text PDFs, plain text and editable JSON backups.

No AI writing or hiring-system guarantee. Complex-script shaping and right-to-left PDF layouts are unsupported.

Open ResumeBench
05 / Work & money

Quiet Ledger

Give spending a clear monthly picture

Import transactions, categorize spending, set monthly budgets and savings goals, and export local records.

One currency per workspace. Imported activity is not a verified account balance; there is no bank sync.

Open Quiet Ledger
06 / Work & money

MinuteHarbor

Track time and prepare invoices

Track or enter work sessions, review weekly totals and create downloadable PDF invoices and CSV reports.

Single-user local records. Review recovered timers, invoice details and tax requirements; nothing is sent or paid.

Open MinuteHarbor

Files & contacts

Organize what you have, with originals kept separate.

07 / Files & contacts

Leafpress

Put PDF pages in order

Merge, reorder, rotate, remove, extract and split pages. Preview prepared outputs and optionally shrink scanned pages.

No OCR, secure redaction or original-text editing. Image-only shrinking loses text and document features.

Open Leafpress
08 / Files & contacts

TwinTrail

Review exact duplicate files

Scan selected files with streaming SHA-256 and optional byte comparison. Choose copies to keep and export a review list.

Read-only: nothing is deleted and no disk space is freed. Folder selection depends on your browser.

Open TwinTrail
09 / Files & contacts

ContactWeave

Clean up an address-book export

Import vCard or CSV, inspect likely duplicates, approve merges and export clean contacts with a full backup.

No account sync or automatic merges. Shared names and numbers are clues; review every decision.

Open ContactWeave

Media & design

Create a useful export and inspect the result.

10 / Media & design

ImageFit

Get an image under a byte limit

Compress or resize static JPEG, PNG and WebP files. Choose dimension bounds and inspect the exported file’s actual bytes, format and dimensions.

A tight limit may be impossible. Compression can reduce detail; destination rules still apply.

Fit an image

Try a synthetic image with a 200,000-byte ceiling.

11 / Media & design

FrameHarbor

Trim or convert a short clip

Trim compatible short audio or video, resize encoded video and export profiles supported by your browser.

25 MiB and 60-second inputs. Codec support varies; no MP3 encoding. Repacking preserves the full clip.

Open FrameHarbor
12 / Media & design

MarkCrate

Make a favicon and PWA icon pack

Turn a raster image or monogram into an ICO, PNG icon sizes, maskable icons, manifest and installation snippets.

Creates web assets, not a complete PWA or a full desktop icon editor. Check the exported icons at small sizes.

Open MarkCrate
13 / Media & design

Cueforge

Get subtitle timing into shape

Edit SRT or WebVTT captions, preview offsets and drift correction, flag quality issues and export repaired files.

No transcription or translation. Readability checks are heuristics; advanced positioning and styling are not rendered.

Open Cueforge

Build & data

Turn a small technical job into something ready to use.

14 / Build & data

FieldLens

Compare JSON without losing digits

Inspect JSON and compare versions with exact large numbers, changed-field paths and markers for address and amount fields.

A review aid, not network validation, transaction simulation or a security audit.

Compare JSON
15 / Build & data

DigestBench

Hash the bytes you meant to hash

Hash local files, UTF-8 text or hex bytes with SHA-256, SHA-512 and Ethereum Keccak-256. Compare a full checksum and download a receipt.

A checksum match alone does not establish authenticity or safety.

Check a digest
16 / Build & data

EpochBench

Convert explicit timestamp units

Convert seconds, milliseconds, microseconds, nanoseconds, Ethereum hex seconds and ISO dates with known offsets. Export exact batch results.

No timezone guessing or blockchain verification. Device time is not trusted network time.

Convert timestamps
17 / Build & data

Linkfolio

Design and export a link page

Arrange a profile, avatar and link blocks, choose a theme and download a self-contained HTML page.

The editor is public; your exported page needs separate hosting. No managed page hosting or publishing account.

Open Linkfolio
18 / Build & data

Rowmint

Turn tables into useful data

Extract HTML tables or repeating rows, review fields and download CSV or JSON. Includes a manual-install Chrome extension.

Collect only data you may use. Chrome extension installation remains untested; the hosted workbench processes supplied HTML.

Open Rowmint
19 / Build & data

Seedloom

Grow repeatable synthetic datasets

Design linked tables with a repeatable seed and export up to 50,000 rows as CSV, JSON or SQLite SQL.

Synthetic fixtures, not anonymization. Finite unique values and device memory constrain generation.

Open Seedloom
20 / Build & data

LaunchLens

Check a static-site export

Inspect a local ZIP or folder for missing paths, broken anchors, metadata issues and basic indexing signals.

Does not crawl live sites, render JavaScript, verify hosting redirects or audit accessibility.

Open LaunchLens

Plan & organize

Make decisions visible. Check the real-world details yourself.

21 / Plan & organize

Stockroom

Keep an equipment catalog

Record equipment, quantities, issues and returns; attach local photos and create QR labels and portable backups.

Single-device workflow without team sync. Limits: 300 items, 5,000 transactions and 60 photos.

Open Stockroom
22 / Plan & organize

Cutcraft

Plan cuts along a length

Compare practical cutting arrangements for bars, boards or pipes, account for kerf and trim, and export cut lists.

1D only; no sheet nesting or machine control. Heuristics do not guarantee the optimal plan. Verify dimensions.

Open Cutcraft
23 / Plan & organize

Clearpath

See a task plan and its dependencies

Build a working-day Gantt plan with finish-to-start dependencies, critical paths, baselines and portable exports.

Single planner, up to 200 tasks. No team collaboration or resource leveling; dates remain planning estimates.

Open Clearpath
24 / Plan & organize

Gather Table

Find a place for your guests

Import guests, keep households together, review seating rules and arrange tables with printable lists and place cards.

Best-effort auto-arrange is not an optimal solver. Check capacity and conflicts; native printing varies by device.

Open Gather Table
25 / Plan & organize

Roomkind

Test furniture fit in a measured room

Lay out one rectangular room, wall openings and furniture; compare layouts, inspect overlaps and export a measured plan.

One rectangular room per layout; 12 layouts, 100 objects and eight openings. Approximate 2D geometry, not irregular CAD, structural, accessibility or egress validation.

Open Roomkind

Crypto preparation

Check text and arithmetic. Confirm any real transaction separately.

26 / Crypto preparation

ChainKit

Check address text and token units

Check EVM or TRON address formats, compare complete addresses, convert token units exactly and split an amount.

A checksum does not verify ownership or the recipient’s supported asset and network.

Open ChainKit
27 / Crypto preparation

CallLens

Read five fixed calldata layouts

Read transfer, approve, transferFrom, setApprovalForAll and the three-argument safeTransferFrom layouts. Token-standard and selector ambiguities stay visible.

Candidate interpretation only. A recognized layout cannot prove what a transaction will do.

Read calldata
28 / Crypto preparation

PayoutCheck

Review a USDT payout sheet

Review up to 2,000 USDT Ethereum recipient rows for duplicate addresses, format issues, network declarations and decimal errors. Export findings.

The subtotal excludes error rows but includes duplicates and other warnings. No payments are sent.

Check a payout CSV
29 / Crypto preparation

PayNote

Make a clear USDT request

Create an unsigned USDT Ethereum payment request with an exact amount, QR code, shareable link and printable details.

Links are editable, wallet support varies, and a request is not proof of payment.

Create a request
30 / Crypto preparation

GasBench

Compare gas-fee scenarios

Calculate exact Ethereum execution fees, upfront reserve and sequential transaction counts from your own gas and fee inputs.

Illustrative arithmetic, not a live quote. Rollup data fees and exchange charges are excluded.

Calculate a scenario

A useful check has clear boundaries.

Try a guided example. Help make the tools better.

Two small, reproducible tasks

Community testing and feedback

Visit First Fold Community for testing steps, known limits and bug reports. The public repository contains documentation and feedback, not application source code.

Use fictional or non-sensitive examples. Issues are public: never post private files, personal or financial data, passwords or other secrets. Do not post exploitable security details publicly.

Source files and offline use

The original eight tools

ChainKit, CallLens, PayoutCheck, PayNote, GasBench, FieldLens, DigestBench and EpochBench each link a source ZIP and a self-contained offline HTML download from their tool page. Open the relevant tool to choose the right download.

Offline files are separate copies. They do not update when the live site changes. Review their instructions and test them on your device.

Image and business-file tools

ImageFit’s source package includes source and tests; serve its dist folder locally. CatalogGuard, BankImport Rescue and DisputePack currently run as hosted browser tools and do not offer packaged offline downloads.

Their example pages include original synthetic practice files. These contain no customer data. Browser processing is local, but downloaded or shared files can contain anything you put into them.

The newer workbenches have their own backup, source and export options. Open the tool for the available formats and instructions. Linkfolio exports a page for you to host separately; Rowmint’s Chrome extension requires manual installation. A source package is not the same as a ready-to-open offline app.
